My new replacement cell has only 2 pins on the plug. There is no middle ground pin. Is this OK?

With the 2021 generation of replacement cells, we have removed the middle pin and wire from the cable. This pin and wire were never connected to anything, and we have removed them to save waste.

Please note that there are some ClearBlue systems with blue plug cells and some with pink plug cells. Make sure the cell you buy has the right color for your system. You can tell by looking at the plug from the old cell, or the receptacle that the cell plugs into.

All new cells, pink and blue, have two pins. As long as the color matches, it will be compatible with your system.
